Reality Facts according to Morrison
- Nibiru or Planet X not only will not come close to earth anytime soon. This unfound planet which Zecharia Sitchin so often relates to does not exist.
- The galactic alignment theory is flawed. Though the earth-sun-galactic core does align every year at the winter solstice there is nothing special about December 21, 2012.
- Scientists unlike psychics or occultists place no emphasis on cosmic transits or alignments. The theory of psychological influence from movement of space matter is bogus.
- As for a possible pole rotational shift where the earth suddenly starts spinning in the opposite direction, forget it, it is not a scientific reality and can never happen.
- As for a possible flip of the earth itself where the iron core gives up and the earth shifts from end to end, forget about that happening anytime soon.
- As for a magnetic pole shift where the magnetic field of the earth changes polarity but nothing physical about the earth itself changes, this does occur every few hundred thousand years but NASA or other logical scientists do not see an association to 2012. Even such a magnetic pole shift wouldn’t harm the earth or earthlings in any great way.
- As for solar flare activity on the sun, or coronal mass ejection. While a solar cycle produces a solar max and solar min every eleven years or so and some solar cycles do produce heavier sun storms than others which do emit rays that influence the behaviour of communication devices such as satellites and power grids and even the ability of radio frequency devices such as airplane tracking systems to lose power, we (NASA) see no solar max occurring in 2012. Even so, these solar max events cause only negligible chaos to earth and earthlings. Spring 2013 will be the period for solar max 24.
